Rod’s military service, which includes being a Purple Heart recipient and a combat veteran, has shaped his approach to leadership and dedication to his country. Rod also advocates for military spouses and children, recognizing the sacrifices they make alongside those who serve. As a veteran, he is also deeply committed to fighting for the rights of veterans, ensuring that they have access to the support and opportunities needed for a successful transition to civilian life.

Rod also recognizes the critical role of first responders and law enforcement in ensuring community safety. As a Purple Heart recipient, he understands the sacrifices made by these individuals. If elected, he will champion enhanced pensions and retirement plans to ensure their financial security and work to build stronger partnerships between law enforcement, first responders, and the communities they serve.
