Rod also advocates for military spouses and children, recognizing the sacrifices they make alongside those who serve. As a veteran, he is also deeply committed to fighting for the rights of veterans, ensuring that they have access to the support and opportunities needed for a successful transition to civilian life.

As a father, Rod is passionate about access to quality education for all children. Rod believes in family values, guided by his faith as a committed Christian. His faith shapes his views on issues such as seniors’ care, where he advocates for policies that improve healthcare and ensure that our elderly population receives the dignity and respect they deserve.

Law Enforcement and First Responders 

Rod also recognizes the critical role of first responders and law enforcement in ensuring community safety. As a Purple Heart recipient, he understands the sacrifices made by these individuals. If elected, he will champion enhanced pensions and retirement plans to ensure their financial security and work to build stronger partnerships between law enforcement, first responders, and the communities they serve.

Dr. Rod Joseph is more than a U.S. Army combat veteran and Purple Heart recipient—he is a proven leader, a humanitarian, and a voice for the people. With 20 years of honorable military service and a Doctorate in Diplomacy & International Relations, Dr. Joseph has dedicated his life to defending America’s freedoms while fighting for fairness, opportunity, and justice both at home and abroad.

His advocacy has already made a difference. Dr. Joseph has lobbied and helped pass laws to improve the lives of small business owners, veterans, and their families. He works closely with leaders across the country to strengthen opportunities for immigrants and shape meaningful immigration reform. His ommitment has even been recognized internationally, earning him a Humanitarian Award from the United Nations for his efforts to uplift lives and communities.

Now, as a candidate for U.S. Congress in Florida’s District 20, Dr. Joseph is ready to bring that same determination to Washington. Known as “The People’s Congressman,” he believes in putting people over politics. His tenure, experience, and ability to work across the aisle will allow him to find reasonable solutions to the challenges facing all Americans—whether it’s creating jobs, supporting families, securing better education, or ensuring our communities are
safe and thriving.

 

Beyond the battlefield and political arena, Dr. Joseph is a devoted father and a proud Christian. His faith, integrity, and resilience have guided him through life’s toughest battles, and he has instilled those same values in his children—some of whom have followed his path into military service.
